Extreme Coupon Adventure

Yesterday afternoon I attempted to use some extreme couponing skills to stock up on some essentials for my home. Mostly this haul consisted of dental care. I went with a few items on my list and then I got there and just kept seeing so many deals that I could not pass up. I purchased $100.51 worth of items. I payed only $26.72!!!! That is a big deal for me, I know for anyone who watches Extreme Couponing on TLC that does not seem like a big deal. For me, the average couponer, it is a great buy. My daughter and I went to Rite Aid to pick up razors and a few things for stockings. (My daughter is only 21 months so she doesn't realize yet what I am doing.)

It started with 2 Venus Embrace Razors for myself. They were on sale plus you received $4.00+up reward for each. (Limit 2) I also had a $5.00 off coupon for each. I purchased 2 for $11.69 and then used my $8.00 up rewards for my next purchase.


The next purchase included 2 Arm and Hammer kids spinbrush- Buy 1 Get 1 Free! and you get $5+up rewards. I also had a $1.00 coupon

4 Oral B Complete toothbrushes- Buy 1 Get 1 50% off and I used $.50 coupons for each

4 tubes of Orajel Training Toothpaste- Buy 1 Get 1 Free!! and I used $.50 coupons for each

2 Gillette bodywashes- Buy 1 Get 1 50% off and I used $1.00 coupon for each


So that was my big shopping excursion yesterday and I am very proud of my finds. Just the 2 razors alone without sale price and coupons would have cost $26.00.
