So while my husband is doing some out of town work this week, I have decided not to cook. Yes that's right. I have refused to turn on the oven since he left. It has been simple food and don't repeat this but microwavable food. Shhhh. I know that isn't exactly healthy or responsible mothering, but hey sometimes a girl needs a break. So tonight I decided to give my kids a treat and take them out. Since I am always looking for freebies and good deals I decided to choose from restaurants offering "kids eat free" option. I wanted to share a post I found in hopes that it will help some other families. I know kids meals are not that expensive but the way I see it, every bit counts. The post has different restaurants and what night they offer the reduced rates or free rates for kids. There were a few missing that I noticed and every location may differ so I would double check with your local chain.
We opted for Golden Corral tonight. Under 3 eat free and under 12 is only $1.99 on Tuesdays. My kids were dying to dive into the chocolate fountain so we ended up at the buffet and they left a chocolate mess.
